This workshop will provide attendees with practical solutions. Make meaningful parent engagement a priority at your school/district. The development of meaningful parent and family engagement requires leaders to foster an environment that inspires parents to be meaningfully engaged. It makes sense but it's not always easy to get commitment, especially amongst our disenfranchised communities. This workshop will provide guidance and strategies to build up parent and family engagement successfully.  Learn how to get meaningful input and feedback from parents and increase participation in advisory committees such as ELAC and SSC. Learn how to host an event, create a welcoming environment, develop marketing strategies, and keep families involved.
